Artist's Description

Built by the Anasazi who came before the Hopi and the Navajo. The majestic Canyon de Chelly contains approximately 265 ruins and has the highest concentration of rock art of any other site in the U.S. This area is protected and preserved by the National Park Service and its land is still owned by many Navajo families.
